It might be OK. I wouldn't know since the one I got from Banggood came in broken. The screen displays ERROR message no matter which soldering tip I put in. I assume it turns on the heat when you point the soldering iron downwards? Not sure to be honest, and at this point... don't care that much. I just need a soldering iron that works. I can't fix it because I don't have a second soldering iron... I'll fix it at work. Hopefully tomorrow I'll write an update saying: it works. 2 days later...
